These courses cover a variety of approaches to dynamic music in video games and how to implement them in Unreal Engine. The techniques will be based around Quartz - Unreal engine’s timing system for music.
Course topics include creating looping background music, using playlists, using musical one-shots, creating the core Quartz system, layer mixing, arrangement switching, quantized layer mixing and arrangement switching transitional approaches, stingers, and advanced Quartz for music systems.
