Example Controllable Player Pawn

  • Animation blueprint with transitions between aiming, landed, and flying.
  • Animation blueprint handles upper body and lower body independently, combining blend space aiming, 360 degree turret, and locomotion.
  • Blueprint control of booster logic controlling 13 Niagara System instances.
  • Enhanced Input control scheme for jump, boost, activate/deactivate, and toggle fire mode.
  • Example firing projectiles impart impulses on the poor cubes.

LODs Provide Flexibility

LOD0 at 573k verts is intended to be a raw mesh for further development, and high detail for cinematics or extreme closeups. LOD1 is practically visually identical to LOD0 but has been optimized for Mid-High end PC applications. LOD3 has a low poly style, good for stylized games, RTS, top-down, platformer, etc. If you wish to load in LOD0 for the example pawn instead of the default LOD1, set the minimum LOD to 0 in the pawn details pane.
