Easy Decal

#TimeSaver

This package is designed from the ground up so that you can create unique and attractive crosshairs, selection circles, particle effects for your characters and weapons. Decals consist of textures in the form of 2D images with transparent backgrounds. The effects are suitable for developing various projects. The resource includes ready-made materials. If you are familiar with the interior of building a material, then you can choose the textures you need from this asset and insert them into the material to create and customize the effects as you wish. The sample materials are very simple, so it will be easy for you.

Implementing Easy Decal

Implementing Easy Decal into your own project couldn't be easier.

Once Easy Decal has been added to your project, navigate to the Materials folder.

Make a duplicate of either the Mat or Flashing material.

Rename the material and open it up.

Inside you can see the Commented nodes that can be altered to change the material as you see fit.

Back in the Decal main folder navigate to the Textures folder and open that up.

Next choose your desired texture and drag and drop it into the duplicate material you made prior.

Connect the the pins from said new texture node in the same manner shown on the existing texture node.

Delete old example texture node, double click on the commented set colour node and change the colour to your desired shade.

Within your character blueprint navigate to Viewport and Add Component a Decal to your chosen static mesh.

Add the duplicated material you made within the Decal Details panel.

Lastly resize the the Decal Component as you see fit.
